Headlight, windshield wiper and door lock problem - 2001 sunfire GT

I have a 2001 sunfire GT and first had a problem like everyone else with with my headlights and diving lights. There was a short in the front of the wiring infront of my rad which I learned from this site and I fixed it. I pulled out all the wires in the front and intalled new ones and it all worked perfectly untill a couple days ago. Now off and on my headlights, windshield wipers and driver door electric lock will not work. They will all not work but out of no where they will start working again. My driver door will just keep unlocking my door every 5 minutes.
I am not to sure where the problem is coming from but I know all these 3 components are linked some how. When one works they all work and when one goes out they all go out. I was also told from the girl I got the car from that there was problems with the windshield wipers before but she thought it was all fixed.
Thanks for the help

Re: Headlight, windshield wiper and door lock problem - 2001 sunfire GT

I have read this somewhere before but cannot remember where. anyway pop the kick panel down by your left foot ,apparently there is an electrical junction in there for various circuits. maybe you`ll find some corrossion it there to clean up . Other than that I`d say bad ground somewhere. One could say it is the multi function switch, but with the funky door locks i would tend to rule that out. Let us know if you figure it out ...........thanks
