Man, It Was One Hell Of A Day

Well, today was an exceptional day.

1. I finally got a job. HP offered me a job doing on site tech service. I get to work out of the house and they provide me with a laptop, cell phone, a company credit card, and they pay for my DSL. To top it off the Stealth will no longer be my daily driver as they will provide me with a Ford Escape which I can use for anything I want.

2. The Stealth got it's new wheels. They are the same wheel, different finish. I think they look much better as I think the car looks more streamlined.

3. The icing on the cake was that I saw the real life version of Flanders at Discount Tires. I nearly shouted out heididdilyho, neighbor!

Throw on a coilover kit, bring it down, and you'll have my attention for sure. The wheels pull the car together though. Nice combo.

Re: Man, It Was One Hell Of A Day

Yeah, it needs to be dropped an inch at least. Plus the ECS died so.....

Since it won't be the daily anymore once I finish restoring the car which will just be a matter of putting the parts on, then I can focus on modifying and suspension will be first or second on the list.

Exciting to hear about the job, or should I say carreer? Contracts man! Oh and love the new rims. As far as the contrast between the calipers and stuff, you should put a pic on just the wheel. I think the chrome and lettering you have would look better left alone. Dont paint them!

Re: Man, It Was One Hell Of A Day

that thing is beautiful. Looked good before, but now its a sex machine. Get all kinds of attention in that thing im sure. Now all you need is a three foot tall aluminum wing to complete the look.

And if you seriously do that i may just kill your entire family.

Anyways, lowering it would be epic. Congrats on the job, too! bring in that extra coin to bring the Stealth together right.

That is pretty common though. Ususally it can be fixed by just replacing a few caps in the ECS.

I'll be sticking with the banana wing forever. If I ever put a ricer wing on any of my cars anyone of you can feel free to come and kick me in the jimmy. As for money, once I get out of debt I can focus on the GTC and Stealth and just use the Escape as the daily driver.

Yeah, I checked the caps. They all seem fine. I'd rather not sink money into the system since I plan to get rid of it anyhow.

Thanks for the compliments guys, and if anyone needs two silver FN01R-Cs I have a pair with about 3,000 miles on them for sale.

Re: Man, It Was One Hell Of A Day

They are 5Zigen FN01R-C. The Style is silver machined. They are 17"x9" with a 35mm offset and a bolt pattern of 5x114.3. One of them has a very light section of curb rash.

Here's a picture of just the wheel.

I like the contrast but polishing the calipers will be expensive and I want the front and rears to match. Also, these ones have something on them that has stained the finish and I just think a powder coated caliper would be easier to maintain, plus I think black calipers with white lettering would look really good.

I was thinking about price for the old wheels and I was thinking about doing $270 shipped......
