Buying a 1994 3251s! Help!
Hey all,
So, this weekend it looks like I'm buying a 1994 325 from an old friend of mine for the right price. He's taken incredible car of the care (as any good BMW owner would do) and it only has 103,000 miles or so. I know NOTHING about BMW or the 3 seires. Can any of you chime in with things I need to know about the car: Maintence, How long it'll last me, Pros, Cons, Things to look out for, how much I'm going to enjoy my new BMW? Thanks! -Baxter

First and most important thing. If he hasn't change the water pump recently, do it immediatley. They have a plastic propeller and they go out right around 100000 miles. If you don't change it and it breaks then you have to change the radiator and thermostat not to mention the tow charge. Mine went out on the way to Las Vegas from San Diego and it cost me $350 just for the towing.
