I am having a problem with my van. Its a 97 Voyager with a 3.0 v-6. The other night when I left work, all my lights worked fine. The next day I went to leave for work, and all of a sudden they didnt. When I turn the switch for the lights to come on, only my headlights work, but no parking lamps or instrument panel lamps. With the switch on, the "lights on" reminder dings, but there is nothing. I have tried removing the relays under the dash to see if i could find the one that controls the reminder, but no luck. Is it possible that the panel where all the wires come in and go out could be bad? Or am i just missing something. I cant take it anywhere as i have the whole dash apart. Anyone have any ideas on what would cause this? Thanks in advance.

Re: Help with 97 Voyager
Did you check the headlight switch itself??
Have you checked fuses for taillights? Do you have brake lights when you apply brake pedal? |

Re: Help with 97 Voyager
Yes, i checked all fuses. I got a ride to the store, and got all new ones. My brake lights work, and my turn signals work, just no front lights, tail lights or instrument lamps. I did notice the other day too, when i opened the door, the interior light would come one, go out, and come back on again after a second or 2. I used a test light to test for power on the light switch, and i have power down to the thing under the dash, where all the wires plug into the bottom, and then are split into like 4-6 different plugs on the front. All those plugs have a nut in the middle that hold them on. Its like the power goes from the switch to there, but nothing comes out. Everything else in my van works except the front/rear parking lights and dash lights. Is it possible that the panel under the dash and the relay center under the hood are both bad? and what is the box on the drivers side fender for? It looks like a computer with 2 plugs on it. Please help, as its the only vehicle i have. Thanks again.
