I recommend AEM pads. Great overall pad and I used them for autocross last year with great results. Reason you don't want metallic pads is they will squeal and eat your rotors quicker.

I had the AEM pads and they wore down real quick and they eat your rotors bad, then i got the Axxis Metal Masters and they are real nice, i've had em for 4 times longer than what i had the AEM's for and still have a lot of life left on the pads.......

I've used my AEMs for sbout 15K street miles, 30 autocrosses, two track days, and 30'ish laps around the Mini Carlisle Road course. They work great as long as you bed them in correctly. And my rotors are fine.

EBC Green Stuff sucked! They glazed over in about 3 months of autocrossing.

Axxis Metal Masters were one of the worse pads I owned. And I know several people who used them for track days and autocrosses and theirs caught on fire. Nice eh?

Brakes need to be broken in for long life and better intial bite.

You do have to do this:
50-0 stop medium pressure
50-0 stop medium pressure
50-0 stop medium pressure
50-0 stop medium pressure
50-0 stop medium pressure
30-0 stop light pressure
30-0 stop light pressure
30-0 stop light pressure

And then park the car overnight, and preferably without the parking brake on).

i headr AEM had some good ones i also hear that the EBC ones produce a lot of break dust so if you have light colored rims you might not want to try these ones because they can get all over your rims and you wanna keep em clean don't you?
