Need to find a H23A1 engine...

Hey,
I've been reading this forum for a long time, but this is a first post...
Last week the engine in my 1992 SE 4WS blew...I can not locate a replacement H23A1 for it. If anyone knows of a site or a shop or has any advice, please post below.

Thank you,
Chris

Why not add 40 HP like I did

When I blew my H23A1, I replaced with an H22A4 in my 1992 Honda 4WS. I got it at the site below. I am sure they have H23s but I would go for the more HP.

Check out the H22A w/LSD for $3300

Yeah I know Lary at IAS...Its located only an hour from here. I really wanted to try and keep the H23 because of the compression ratio and the construction of the block (better for boost).

Hmm...I dont know much about that. What other modifications would I need in order to get the H23A VTEC to work?

Thumbs up H23A VTEC

The H23A Vtec has a blue top and has 220 horsepower. It will fit in accord or prelude or civic or integra.

H23 VTEC??

I am almost 100% positive Honda has never made an H23 VTEC. The H22A Type S engine is the prelude JDM Engine and has 220 HP. That has a RED VALVLE COVER. The BLUE VALVE COVER goes with the F20B which goes in the accoed SiR. I thought you had a custom hybrid engine, because that is what I am looking into making. Yiou can check my information if you like at the website below.

H23A VTEC

Don't be so sure. Honda has made a JDM H23 VTEC for Honda Accord SiR. I know F20B is a 2.0L engine but H23A VTEC has a 2.3L engine. It is almost the same engines cause they both came into Honda Accord SiR but H23A VTEC has got more power. The H23A VTEC engine comes into the Honda Accord SiR Station wagon. What you have said is true but I have more powerful engine that you could be interested in.
