Exclamation Instrument Cluster Light

Hey Everyone! I have a 2000 Sienna XLE. The right side instrument cluster where the speedometer is, the light has gone out! Is the light replaceable? Or do I need to get a new cluster??? Thanks!

Re: Instrument Cluster Light

I had the same problem on my 98 and I got tired of not having lights one night so I smacked the left side of dash with my hand and they cam back on and stayed on. Two lights were not on that light up the speedo, but the tach lights have always worked. Now they all work again. Must be a loose coonection or filament in the bulbs. Same problem with the light that lights up the temp adjustment. I just gave it a quick hit and pretso.

hi i have the same year and model its a big job to take out the instrument cluster. I reached up under the dash and bumped a few wires and the lights started working on mine. but a few weeks later they went back out so it must be a loose wire. I also smacked the dash and the came on but went back out. Same with my radio. there are no bulbs to change on the radio. it must be somthing with the ground.

Re: Instrument Cluster Light

I am having this same problem with my 1998 Toyota Sienna, and no one gave a real answer here besides being the Fonz! Anyone ever fix this?

Re: Instrument Cluster Light

Sorry, never did fix it. After a while they went out again regardless of how many times I smacked the dash. After my engine light came on and the van started to run bad, I traded it in as fast as I could.
