I never asked anyone to critisize my car, all I am saying is that I have spent alot of my own cash to modify my car and that if someone is interested in it to email me. I don't need you to come on here and talk trash about me because you have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe to you my MOLDED (no holes ASS) front bumper is ugly, and that's your opinion. However, you should learn to keep your mouth shut before something bad happens to you.

Forum(n) - a place for people to get together and discuss different facts, with their variating opinions.

If you dont want to hear the replies, post your car in a wantad or some other website designed for selling cars. If you cant take the heat, stay out of the kitchen because people are going to say what they want.

Ok, after reading the for sale thread, I would have to agree with other people in there, mods generally dont increase your cars value, or else my car would be worth $4000, opposed to the $2600 which is the blue book value.

wedder or not I got a nice car in your opinion isnt the issue here ... the issue is you started a thread bagging on the "haters" who simply informed you that you are most likely not going to get the asking price for your car ... I read the mod list, and I think its a nice car, but for you to go and discount my opinion based on the fact that my car isnt new, or a nissan is lame. I go in the mustang forum from time to time, and nobody ever bags on me for driving a "rice burner"

So take it easy. I used to have a 2000 Civic Si before my Maxima, so I used to be just like you. I respect the fact that you try to make your car nice, but they were telling me I am LUCKY to get $12,500 which I consider an insult!

Like I said in the sale post. Mods are not a value increasing aspect on a car. A GTR Maxima in the US is essentially non-existant and most of the items you replaced are considered maintenence items. Whether you replaced them with performance parts is inconsequential. The body kit will only be worth something to someone who wants or likes it.

I could itemize every part in my Maxima, add it up, and come up with clear over $30,000 in parts (OEM parts). However, my car is worth nowhere near that. Its all about the demand for something like that.

If I were you, I wouldn't advertize the car as a GTR. Its not going to get you any more money.

Keep in mind, I'm not blasting your car. It may be very nice. However, I'm just telling you how it is, not how you want to hear it. If you could show a picture of the car, that would be cool. I'd like to see what you did to it.

I also adverstised the car as being a 1997 NIssan Maxima SE... I just typed GTR in because it would get peoples attention which it did, and because of the fact that my lights are from a real GTR

And yeah, GTR Did attract the attention of the readers on the forum, but, just so you know, it wasnt "Cool, a GTR" kind of attention, it was "What a friggin moron" kind of attention.

Recently, I replaced the fuel in my car, it was 93 octane instead of 92. Should I tack the 25 bucks onto my resale price?
