02 - SL-2 Automatic Dies in reverse down hills...

Hello,

I have a 2002 Saturn SL-2 that just hit over 100,000 miles. I just changed my spark plugs, and ever since then when I go in reverse down a hill (such as a driveway) the car dies and my engine/battery light comes on... To make matters worse there is a delay when I press the gas pedal the car lurches and then proceeds to go but continues every so often to jerk forward while I'm driving... My service engine light has been coming on periodically (before I changed the spark plugs) however it is not currently on for me to check the code... Any help is appreciated....

The SES light doesn't need to be on to check the codes. If the light comes on while the engine is running, there will be a code stored.

Get the codes.

What spark plugs did you get? NGK COppers have had the best results in the s-series
