Re: Need help am i screwed?

I used to own a 70 fastback with a 351C ,the car came from the factory, with "HOOKER" headers, hope that helps

Re: Need help am i screwed?

Not to rain on parades, but Hooker headers came on no car from any factory...

Mad Dog makes the headers you're talking about. Hooker may also, as they supply a limited amount of "swap" headers for popular combinations. A little judicious shopping is in order. Clevelands in early Mustangs used to be quite popular. For some odd reason, Cleveland has fallen out of favor among the Ford crowd. Too bad, too. GREAT performance engine if done correctly. I know we have a couple out there that get "laughed at" right up until the win light comes on... Don't be shy about pumping up the 2-bbl. heads. They can make more usable (key word) power than the 4-bbl. versions.
