Talking Bought a `92 prelude

Hey guys, I just got my first car, its a 1992 prelude SR, its canadian. I have a few questions. First of all, the antenna in the back doesn't come up, im not sure how i can fix it, if anyone has any suggestions please let me know =). Also, can anyone recomend any good mufflers for about 300-400 bucks $US ? Finally, if anyone lives in vancouver, could you please let me know some good places i can buy nice mags, mufflers and kits from. Sorry for all the stupid questions, its my first car so i dont know much about upgrading. Thanks for your time!

I have a 93 lude and I found that HKS has a nice low rumble sound instead of the coffee can motorcycle sound. I got it for 370 off line. The other exh. that I auditioned was the 5zigen fireball but that has a higher sound and once again has the coffee can thrown on the back of the car.

About the ant. Mine did the same thing so I took that as a sign to shave the ant off i.e. pull it out and cover and paint over it so it looks like it was never there. I now have a window, powered ant. basically it can be put anywhere in the car best place to put it is on the inside of the front windshield behind the rear view mirror. If you don't want to see it and want to have it hidden you can remove the underside of the dash and install it in there ( pull off your tweeter cover and you find a tunnel running between the two tweeters.

have fun.

I think the antennae is a common problem amongst the 92s. I have talked to a couple other people with that same problem. I talked to cartoys (bloody scamming vultures) about it for kicks, and they said it would be about 50 or 60 dollars to replace the motor. That's after you brought them the motor. I am never going back there again. Just do it yourself. You can find a good antennae assembly for under 100 dollars I bet.

I was thinking about taking one from an old Jaguar XJ-S because they are very smooth in operation, and look decent.

Bradnon was right though, shaving it would be best.
