'93 LeBaron back-up lamps not working
I checked bulbs and tested power at the socket in reverse. No power. Neutral safety gets power in reverse. Pin tested back-up lamp relay plug and got power. Replaced relay and nothing happened. I tested the fuse bank, and it is getting power there. Relay looked slightly different but had same number of blades and orientation as the OEM one. Is the gear selector switch on the tranny in this circuit. I thought this would be simple, wrong!
**Follow-up**
After checking all the sensors i.e. NSS, P/N Switch, and last resort TRS, trace the wires very closely. I finally found that the A/C belt had cut several wires to the tranny wire harness. It apparently came loose. and got too close to the belt.
