How many times does a convertible top go down?

I'm about to buy my first convertible... but am concerned about putting the top up and down each time I use the car (it won't be in a garage so I can't leave the top down).

What's the chance I'll were it out? opcorn:

It's a 2003

Re: How many times does a convertible top go down?

Well that depends on the Make..........Look, If your concern that the roof won't go up in the rain, then don't buy one. Heck, I own a 2003 Chevy with power windows. In cold weather the window won't go up or down.
The motor as long as it doesn't sound like it is straining to operate, should last a long time, unless it was in a flood.
