95 DelSol stalls when temperature nears operating temp
Hi,
I have a 95 DelSol S which recently starts stalling for a half a minute or so when temperature nears the operating temperature, i.e. temperature gauge rises to the operating temperature, and then everything is back to normal. I have replaced the radiator, spark plugs/wires, distributor rotor/cap. The engine runs strong otherwise and it does not have any idling problem. The heater works fine and temperature gauge rises maximum to just below the middle. Please help me. |

Re: 95 DelSol stalls when temperature nears operating temp
1) I have had a problem with a mustang years ago,and it was the electronic
Iginition module on distribuitor. 2)A bad coil can cause the same problem! When heat go's up in a coil, the inductance reactance go's down. The voltage might not step up thus cause a misfire. Note: Every time the engine would get Hot,I would lose the Timing! GOOD LUCK! MCGIVER Last edited by danielsatur; 04-05-2008 at 07:31 PM. |
