'96 GM boggs down, But starts/runs
My '96 Grand Marguis will start up fine. But will bogg down with anything but the slightest pressure on gas pedal.
Even after warm up at any speed, it will hesitate badly. There are no codes on dash! Any ideas on the problem? |

Use voltmeter or ohmmeter and check the TPS. Open the throttle real slowly. The meter should increase gradually and not drop. If readings drop, replace TPS.

Thanks for the reply, I will check the TPS as you suggested.

As an afterthought, how long since fuel filter has been changed? If there is not enough fuel reaching the engine on hard acceleration, it will also bob down.
