Oil Pressure Gauge Hook-up
How do I install a mechanical oil pressure gauge. I think I found the sending unit (right above oil filter) but how does it fit???? It's an auto meter gauge. Does it T into the sensor?? Please help!!

The OEM oil pressure switch is 1/8 BSPT threads. The aftermarket gauge sending units are 1/8 NPT threads. They are no compatible, although some people just cross thread the 1/8 NPT into the 1/8 BSPT (I don't recommend doing this). Best bet is to find a machine shop that will make you one cheap. You need and adapter with a male 1/8 BPST on one end and a femail 1/8 BSPT on the other end. T'd into it should be the female 1/8 NPT.

if you purchase HKS, Greddy or Blitz gauges, they come with the T-adaptor and eveyrthing else for you to hook up the gauges.
