Est. the HP I have...

I have an Iceman CAI, Airmass header, 2 1/4 cat back with a sebring muffler (supposedly a good one from europe) and a 5 inch tip. The motor: Stage 2 Crane cam, has new rings 25K on them and the head was dremel tool polished. It wasnt a professional job but was alot smoother than the stock one.
Also I took the Dizzy out and it did have the Crane cam stamp on it with some numbers..

I think that those figures are a little low. And I also think that the cam added alot more than 10hp. The timing being off by 8degrees isnt my doing. The guy that I bought the motor from did that it needs to be adjusted because it runs a lot rich at low rpms.

I also have an aftermarket cam, With my AEM cam gear, the timing being adjusted 4 degrees advanced makes a really good high end power, I suggest you do that, you will gain some good extra power.

wait 108 flywheel so thats 16 hp loss to drivetrain.

92 whp now add thsoe numbers
+3 cai
+4 header
+4 exhuast
+10 cam
+1 tuning

114 whp maybe more for the port polish, i think it could be more too in you smoothed out the fuel map and tuned the cam gear right

OK, what do you think I will make with this setup? (Its not together yet but Im workin on it)
Engine: JDM DOHC ZC

EnDyn/wiseco 11 16:1 Pistons and rings (In the mail)
Eagle rods
Balanced to 10K: Rods pistons and crank + micro polish on crank.
HKS intake and exaust Camshafts
HKS Cam ADJ Cam gears
AEM CAI (I own this already)
DC HEADER (I own this already)
AEM Fuel rail
AEM or UR pullies
BBK 62mm TB
ZEX 55-75 WET system.
MSD for nitrous
and last but not least a custom exaust that uses two 1" pipes going from each Y section on the header (Instead of using the downpipe) all the way to the exaust, no cat. Just straight pipes all the way to the dual mufflers
What do you guys think?

I think with that "custom header" you will be losing power and it will sound like shit. if you only use 2 of the 4 cylinders for each "header" then it wouldn't be scavenging your exhaust correctlyand you'd be losing power because of it. If it was such a good idea, all motor drag racers would be doing that but they just use custom 4-1 manifolds.

ditto man... headers are designed like they are for a reason... a lot of these companies spend a lot of time and money finding the right lengths and designs of them... def. think twice before trying that...

you will def sacrifice power using that dual-single-header bullshit, you wont get the right kind of backpressure, and your car will run like all types of shit., switch back to a single exhuast and a regular header.
