Trunk ajar light comes on and off
Hello,
I just have a quick question with my trunk ajar light. It comes on and off every now and then and I know the trunk is shut. Is it usually the switch located to the latch on the trunk lid with a little 2 prong plug? Does this sound like the problem? thanks for any help! Chris

There is a sensor in the latch that tells the DIC if the trunk is open or not. I would remove it and clean everything up and try it again. If the problem persists, I would find a new sensor from a junk yard.
