95 88 royale starting

I have a 1995 oldsmobile 88 with the 3800 vr and when I was driving home from work to pick up my little brother and put the car in park the low oil pressure light came on and I shut the engine off opened the hood and looked for any leak and found none and i tried to start it and it wouldnt turn over I let the thing cool for about an hour and treied to start it it finally did turn over after a little persuaion I nursed and got it up to about 55 mph and it started to shake and the lights dimmed beepers went off and the motor stopped and i had no brakes and no power steering I left it over night and and it still had plenty of battery power I hear a humming noise from the starter is the starter just welded in gear or is it something more catastrophic? sorry for my bad spelling im from nebraska lol
