I've got the overheating virus too! 95 Eagle Vision

On my way home I saw a bunch of steam from under the hood. My temp was maxed out. I pulled over waited for it to cool, luckily I was just down the street from home. I just went out and filled the radiator up with water it doesn't seem to be draining out.

What and how should I check next???

How to check cooling fans? Also how to check the relays for the cooling fans?

Any other ideas??
