300ZX progress... SOrry for the other thread

Hey i have bbeen working on my 300ZX for a couple days.. with no real progress... ican't get the suspension and wheels to look right.. i am going to try other wheels or if anyone can help me... it would be greatly appreiceiated..




and here is the "Clean" worktable!!!



As you can see from the pics.. the wheels don't sit right!!! SORRY for the blurry ness. im in a hurry!!!

Those tires are too big. I think you need to go with a different rim and tire set-up. Rim with a lip and a skinnier sidewall tire will do some real justice.

That engine work looks sweet! :bandit:

Looking good but id put some Lower Profile tires on those rims they look weird. And Tuck those rear wheels in more. If your still wondering how to lower it, I just got my 300zx Conv. today and I think i figured it out. On the suspension assembly, the biggest part of it (The Center plate styled thing), if you get the 2 end and push them upward they will move up, but dont push real hard or you'll break them off. I did'nt even come close to breaking them and I got them up about 3mm. I didnt try the back yet so ill inform you when I try it.

Yeah, i finished one of those a month 1/2 ago, and I had trouble with the suspension. Just be patient. Did you finish the tail lights yet? That was my biggest problem.

I think this is one of those cars that clear taillights suit quite well! (see gallery)

Could ou take a closer pic of the engine/turbos?

yea ur right... but anyways! onto more progress! I picked up some interior paint (white) and i will spray tonight... and i also got a Thin tipped marker..... but it wasn't thin enough, and the panel line is thick!!! il get some pics of it later today (December 22) and tell me what you guys think! thanks alot:flash:
