WTK the longevity of a 98 328I BMW engine
I'm in the process of purchasing a used 98 328I sedan BMW in Good-excellent condition for $8000. The car has 130,000 miles on it. Is this a good buy? Will the engine/transmission last another 70,000 to 100,000?
Is there anything I should be aware of that pose a problem? This will be my first BMW purchase.... Thanks Jen |

They seem to go about 250 to 300K if they are taken care of. The first thing that seems to go is the head. Just make sure you dont over heat it.
