I have an 05 Aveo Sedan that came with the stock AM/FM radio. I turned the car on the other day and the radio won't work. It's just a black screen and doesn't prompt me for a code or anything. The battery is fine, although I was having some problems with it about a month ago. I've tried changing the fuses without any luck and also tried entering some codes I found on this website. Still no luck. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Aveo Radio
Welcome to AF.
Are you referring to this thread? It seems to be useful. I also found this on line. Let us know if you have already tried all these suggestions. If none work, it does not hurt to see what your GM dealer would charge to help. Alternatively, an aftermarket radio, or a used Aveo radio from a wrecking yard may be cheaper than the dealership. |
