93 Lumina Euro Trans Slipping
So, My wife has a 93 lumina Euro. Evertime she turns a sharp corner and keeps constant pressure on the gas, the trans will slip and rev high untill it straightens out! But, if she lets off of the gas going around the corner, the car does just fine!! The trans fliud is full, but getting a little darker red! I am just not sure if it would be a good idea to have a filter change and flush the tranny out or not. I mean the car has a little over 205,000 miles on it, so it has seen its fair share of the road!! I just dont want to pay money for something like that if the tranny is just going to take a dump in a month or two anyway. Any suggestions??? Any help would be greatly appriciated!!!

Re: 93 Lumina Euro Trans Slipping
I'd drop the pan and make sure the filter is properly seated (or just replace it while in there)...if sucking air at the o-ring, the fluid will aerate and make them behave this way when the fluid level sloshes to one side and they pick up a snort of foam...
It could be other more serious trouble, but I'd at least check this first..
