That would be perfect on FWD cars. Gives enough weight in the front to provide traction, but enough power to compensate for the weight.
I can see the ad for this thing now: Spools up great at 25,000rpm and builds max boost at 35,000rpm! Experience almost no lag time!! Don't have space under the hood? Install on a trailer, run some piping (instructions included!!) and tow your turbo behind you. Perfect for any application. Fast and Furious!! HAHA

I'm guessing it came off a locomotive or some very large machine. There's actually a business I pass on the train and they have something very similar, just more square sitting behind the business.
