Glass Repair for Demolition Derby Drivers

I have a team of 5 cars that run a small circuit in the Florida area. Obviously I'm in need of glass work on my vehicles pretty frequently. I've been using Triumph Auto Glass, or Diamond Glass or whatever they call themselves these days (a google search for triumph auto glass takes me to www.diamondglassco.com). I get a great price and great workmanship, but are there any mods out there to fit 2 or 3 flat plexi glass pieces into cars. I have two 87 monte carlos 1 85 grand prix 1 84 grand prix and an 85 monte carlo. I figure by replacing the windshields in my cars with plexi glass pieces I could avoid the cost of replacing the auto glass all together. For you guys in derby Diamond Glass does a great job, but I may be on to something with the plexi glass.
