ElRxBandito VS Scarface - 00 SVT Lightning VS 70 Camaro

Well, this thread is mainly to see, who's still online here, and who still pays attention.

So we're having a build off between, Scarface199 and myself.

We'll both be posting progress in here, and when we finish, we'll have a poll!

Let's start the build off!

Re: ElRxBandito VS Scarface - 66 GTO VS 70 Camaro

Ok, here's my entry for this American muscle build off.

I have a 1966 Pontiac GTO, and as of right now, it's just a shell of a car.

I mocked it up a bit to show how I plan to how it sitting.

Not sure on paint, dropping a supercharged 427 Hemi, American Racing Torque Thrust wheels in black, and a monster cowl hood.

So far, that's all I've thought of.

Here's the teasers.

Enjoi!

Re: ElRxBandito VS Scarface - 66 GTO VS 70 Camaro

Got a bit done this morning.

I fitted the engine, plumbed out the oil lines, coolant lines, and added overflow and breather tanks.

Also, I got a dashboard setup, with a nice and fancy billet steering wheel.

Now, I can't seem to decide on wheter I want a cowl hood, or a shaker hood.

Slow down, I havent even got my supercharger or wheels in the mail yet. Right now im painting the engine block and tranny, and finishing up the exauhst, once the wheels come i should be rolling quite well.

Your project is looking good!

Haha, I can't slow down. If I slow down, I wind up stopping.

And I plan to win this build off.

I just wish I could find all the parts to my Camaro, yours makes me want mine....it's pretty...

Keep it up, I want some competition!

I'm looking forward to it. I know what you can do, you're quite good with customization.

It's gonna be close!

Re: ElRxBandito VS Scarface - 66 GTO VS 70 Camaro

Electric fan finished, made complelty out of scratch... well besides the fan itself..
fan casing made out of the circle plastic piece inside of a normal wrist watch, surrports going to the "motor" in the middle is metal staples, motor in the middle is Hallow aluminum tube cut to side and filled with jb weld.. outside was smoothed out with quik wood.
radiator was made out of a jada escalade radiator shaved and cut to fit.. mounts are made out of styrene sheet.

Wow, I just have a belt drive fan on mine.

Guess I'm gonna need to make that engine bay shine to keep up with that!

I need to break out my digital camera, my phone isn't giving as good of a quality photo as I want.

But here's another shot of my engine bay.
