Completed Suzuki KATANA(Part I)

Hello,
Finished Tamiya 1/12 Suzuki GSX1100S KATANA(Part I).
Painted exterior Finisher's Fine Silver, engine is flat aluminum.
C/F decal of silencer is Studio27 and 'YOSHIMURA' logo is selfmade.

Hi,

nice job, kunta, looks stock but it is a little bit different when looking at it for a second time.

Exhaust-colours look great this time ( IMO :-) ).

How did you make the slots in the brake- and clutch-levers?

Here are pics how I did it.
1.Drilled it (0.5mm diameter)


2.Cut holes by knife.



3.Sanded it by thin file and sand paper(#800)

I didn't paint it. I used metallic tape which is sort of kitchen material(follow pic).
I always use it for mirror(car/bike both) ,silencer, etc.
you know Tamiya ZX-12R model also uses metallic tape for inner fork tubes, it's including with the kit.


anyhow, I should wrote it in wip thread.
