205/60/16 verses 225/60/16's

Has anyone out there tried a set of 205/60/16's verses the original 225/60's?,there is a big difference in the width of the tire, almost 2 inches in the width of the tire which my buddy has a set on his 05 impala, after comparing my car to his, driveing his car in the harsh cold winter with lots of snow his 05 impala is a 100% better for traction ,stopping, better ride and way better on gas,i was more concerned about the gas mileage,as we swapped cars for the weekend i came to the conclusion that those tires are far better then the original size tires

i thought about doing that but worried about clearance. Any rubbing, especially on the front. Are they on the factory rims?

,they are narrower, make the car ride a 100% better,their-- the same height,no rubbing, height is still the same, the brakes are wicked now with a smaller tire ,way better on gas,now my gas hand hardly moves at all,yes they are on factory rims, less tire on the pavement made a big difference to my impala verse's the 225/60's good choice of tires
