Taurus intakes
My friend has a 1997 taurus lx that he is working on right now and he was looking for an intake. I have looked around on a couple of sites but havent found anything. I was wondering if they do sell one and if so where can i purchase one. And if there is not one how would i fabricate one. Thanks for all of your help..

MODS , 2g pistons, cyclone intake manifold, ported 1g head, 60mm tb, greddy type s bov, apex-i n1 exhaust , ngk spark plugs, 3 angle valve job, autometer boost/vac, autometer air/fuel ,autometer oil pressure ,cross drilled rotors ,turbonetics boost controller ,air filter ,remove dump tube, 14b turbo and the ac still doesn't work and its been almost 3 years |

Tried a wrecking yard? I would get out the phone book, is where I would go.
Viewing all the items in your footnote, doesn't look like any of those have anything to do with the air conditioning system. |

You can make an intake using what's called an MAF adapter

Are you talking about an air intake manifold or building a cold air intake?
If you want a CAI don't waste your time. drop in a K&N panel filter and you will be good to go. You can remove the silencer in the fender well to make it louder. I have built two for my cars and quite honestly they aren't worth the cost or effort.  Mike |
