firing problems
1992 acura integra will not fire,replaced complete distribiter still no luck.coil has voltiage on it but no fire when cranked.this is the second time the car has failed to start when shut off. the first time my mechinac replaced the spark igniter with a used one from his shop,it came from a accord.the car ran for a month.my son shut it off and it fail to restart.it has not shown any sign of quiting when it goes down it is allways after it is shut down.still wont fire with a rebuilt distributer.

ok two possiblities, make sure that the timing belt is set correctly. if its off then it will cause the plugs to fire at the wrong time. you might also want to check to make sure that your spark plugs are in their proper number sequence. and if this dosent work try getting a new distibutor.

and if that fails try looking at the ignition switch not the lock and cylinder the switch which is behind the hole you put the key in to start the car
