92 RWD Rusted Brake Line
I just found a leaking brake line (rusted) - it is the line that runs to the rear axle into a valve before it splits off to each rear wheel. It is leaking in an area where the gas tank would have to be removed to fix or replace the line.
2 part question - Any tricks to replacing brake lines? How hard is it to drop the fuel tank? The van is a 92 - rear wheel drive - with a Z in the VIN. ~150K miles. Thanks! |

Re: 92 RWD Rusted Brake Line
Drain the tank, undo lines, filler neck, and any electrical harness. Replace the brake line from front to rear. Use inverted flare fittings and unions only. Not a fun job, but needs to be done.
