RE-Xtreme RX7 1:1 Replicas in 1:24
I am building some replicas of my real cars.
RE-Xtreme FD3s Project I. I sold this car but I want to create a replica. Starting with Aoshima RE-Amemiya Street version and Cwest Version Combined. Any ideas for replicating the wheels? They are RAYS SE37W. I had TE37 on the car for a short time. so thats a fallback. Maybe these http://www.hlj.com/product/AOS28315 anyone got any? ![]() Real car in its former glory. ![]() RE-Xtreme FD3s Project II. This is my current car. http://rextremeii.blogspot.com/ I have a Greddy 9 fujimi Model with lights from an Aoshima FD3s. Feed fenders were custom made. I still need to make the side skirts etc. Next step is to carbon the bonnet... Arrgh not looking forward to that. I am using DISM Advan RS wheels changed to Female mounts. ![]() ![]() The real beast! ![]()

Yes,
I have lived in Japan for a while. The Bronze car started life in Japan and was painted in Australia when i went back a few years ago and sold. http://rextreme.blogspot.com/2006/01/my-fd3s.html The Green car is my current car. Built as a touge monster. Twin turbo boost up car with Pan Speed and Blitz, Feed Re-Amemiya, HKS and Advan components. http://rextreme.blogspot.com/1990/01/my-fd3s.html All my FD Models on that blog. As for Tokyo Drift, My friend in Japan has two Fortune FD's and another 16 cars left over from the movie. If you're interested. Check www.neweraimports.com |

Re: RE-Xtreme RX7 1:1 Replicas in 1:24
I picked up some profound wheels for the bronze car.
The centres will need some wheel studs and the holes drilled but they should be pretty close. Thanks for the suggestions. Should match well with the right paint. ![]() Russ, |

Re: RE-Xtreme RX7 1:1 Replicas in 1:24
Yep,
It's the same. So I just had to mould the Feed Widebody onto it. Wheels are Advan RS. I could only find them on a DISM die cast kit. So I bought that and converted them. It's cheap to do in japan cause everything is just a few bucks. Not a few hundred I dont have the rear light cover though. I'll have to make one or buy a cover for my real car... haha. Russ. |
