code 43...knock sensor
I did a search, but apparently there's some problem with the database....so here's my question. CEL came on the other morning when I fired it up. Put my code key in and got a code 43, which according to the trusty Chilton is a knock sensor or knock sensor circuit. What does this mean? help!!
forgot to mention '93 3.1:

Re: code 43...knock sensor
either sensor is faulty, or a fault in wire. unlesss you have critter infestation or wires moved and got chafed/rubbed, is most likely sensor. check the wire visually, and if looks good, replace sensor.
