Re: Apexi N1 exhaust

Not hardly anything if your car is stock, but if you have an upgraded turbo, etc, you should see a good difference, you just free'd up a shitload of restrictions in the exhaust flow.

Re: Apexi N1 exhaust

if its a built system with the factory exhaust... but on a stock system, not much more then sound and a few lbs of torque...maybe 5hp... MAYBE!

Re: Apexi N1 exhaust

You'll get a big gain if you have everything else upgraded except the exhaust system because the stock exhaust is much too small to support a larger turbo. It'd be like you trying to breathe through a straw. You have much more are you could push through it, but you just can't because it's much too small. Now if you're still on the stock turbo, you won't see much of an increase at all because the stock turbo can't flow enough to "overpower" the stock exhaust system, therefore you won't see much of a gain. And that would be like blowing through a toilet paper tube versus a wrapping paper tube. You can't generate enough air to maximize the flow through the toilet paper tube, therefore the upgrade (to the wrapping paper tube, or 3" exhaust) really doesn't do anything. Does that make more sense?

And yes, I know, sweet example. You can send donations to my paypal.
