WIP - SCCA Trans-Am Mustang
Just a quick teaser shot, a project for myself, inspired by the Power and Glory mod for GTR2 (for my fellow sim racers out there...)

Re: WIP - SCCA Trans-Am Mustang
I was expecting one of the Revell box kits. What a nice surprise!

Re: WIP - SCCA Trans-Am Mustang
Got the BMF done, rough fit the chassis and interior together... interior is stock but gutted with a single racing bucket.
The wheels are stock steelies painted grey then clearcoated, just like the car that inspired me. It's what road racers on a budget would run, rather than the Torq Thrust or Minilite wheels that were popular at the time. I know it seems like the car is sitting pretty high for a road racer but, again, that was the style at the time, as the rules didn't allow a lot of chassis work in the early SCCA days. ![]()
