Alternator or Battery? 2004 Grand Cherokee

I have two alpine type r 12s and an pdx.1.1000 amp. But they subs continually just cut out... Do i need a high output alternator or just a bigger battery? Or, if not that what do i need? Also, is two pdx 1.1000s too much for two type rs

Thanks

Re: Alternator or Battery? 2004 Grand Cherokee

That sounds like a bad connection or your amp isn't well suited for your subs. If it was your alternator or battery then your vehicle probably wouldn't run very well.
