put a b16 in?
hey guys::
i got a 90 civic hatch and i want to swap a b16a1 into it however first i got some questions,,, whats the difference between cable and hydraulic transmission?? what exactly does lsd do,, and why will it cost me almost 1500 more to get these two things??? thanks a million btw my car is a 1.5L 4 speed manual -martin |

Cause you get better grip on wheels they are bouth pulling hard each time no metter in what possition your car is!!! So you can more easily put your HP on the road Doesn't word LSD(limited slip differencial) mean anything to you

ok how about the cable aand hydraulic trannies,,
whats the different, i mean i am assuming that i want hydro since its more expensive,, but will it be a sacrifice if i get the cable?? |

i dunno about that from what i gather hydro trannys are better b/c the clutch is easyer to use or some shit but i dunno the guy explaining it to me didn;t know wtf he was talking about lol

one tranny is not better than the other, cause its hydrolic or cable. its just a matter of what year your car is. 88-91 use cable 92-up use hydro. thats it really.

ok... its really simple.... on a cable clutch, it is a cable that pulls the pressure plate on and off, while on a hydrolic, it is a hydrolic line that does it. hydro pedal setups are often times easier to depress, but i personally think there is better feel with a cable tranny.
