Question chatter and whining coming from shifter area, what is it???

im thinking its my clutch going out. bout anyone know for sure what that noise means.

did you try and tighten your shifter bushings...dont really know what that bolt is called thats at the base of your shifter. check shift linkage too for any loose bolts. Unless your clutch is slipping then check those first.

both i can hear all the time and my clutch is slipping.

It sounds like bad bushings or it could be the throw out bearring

what do u think?? expensive to fix and is it a serious problem. im getting a clutch system next week hopefully that will help.

i think the throwout bearing costs about 400 to fix. My friend had it replaced on his truck and that's what it cost him, and i think it was the same price for Sparq too when he got his replaced.

, good reason to get a new clutch. i had something similar an it was my pilot bearing goin out, so i decided if they were gonna take the motor our an get that, mite as well get a clutch at the same time.
