how to tell if I have an LSD trans

Hey what's up? I was wondering how to you tell if you have an LSD engine? I've had my B16a2 for awhile but things keep going wrong with it so I haven't been able to drive it much but anyway is there a code on the trans to tell if you have LSD? I paid like $800 dollars more for it but I haven't been able to drive it enough to tell. I'll post which site I bought the engine from later because I'm very pissed off at them. So far I've had to replace the water pump, timing belt, clutch, the one of the starter bolts snapped off in my block because it was cross threaded, and I think my TPS is bad. Be careful where you buy your engine from, thanks for any help

A usdm b16a2 motor doesnt have lsd as an option. If it were a JDM motor, the code on your tranny would have to start with an Y. Most that come over here are J. Just cause you have a Y series tranny doesnt mean its lsd neccesarily, there are a couple versions of it. The SURE way to tell is remove both drive axles and look into the differential. If you you see straight through its lsd, if there is something in the middle its not.

Cool I just put in new drive axles today and I noticed that I could see straight through so at least I feel better about that. Thanks a lot for the info
