f@#*ed my engine

when i first got my car i was readlining it of fun in first and sumtimes second and now my engine i making a really loud knock and i dont kno what it is..... i tried adjusting the vavles and it didnt work...does anyone have any ideas what it could be??? it really doesnt matter cause im getting a ZC around August and i cant drive the car until october so......thanks

Yeah, uh... redlining your engine all the time is a bad idea... especially if it's just for fun.

Good thing you're getting a ZC though, I just hope you don't blow that one too...

that sucks cause it was like my first car and i my engine is shot now but im not going to redline my new one anymore thats for sure i really wasnt doing it on purpose i wasnt paying attention and forgot to shift it was like the third time i drove a stick.....but i was goign to get a new engien anyway so its all ok....thanks

i learned how to drive a stick without a tack, got to learn how to listen to the engine, didn't get a tach thill a few months ago.

same here...but i've had my tach for at least 7 or 8 months now...but i have had my car since Nov 2000...learned to drive in it.

dude.....sorry to hear it....but.......DON'T GET A ZC.......save your $$$ and go B series.....much more potential and if d series wanna hang with bseries they have to work twice as hard.......sure you can turbo a d series and it will be fast...BUT turbo a b series and a d still won't hang......I got my d16z6 54,000mileson it with p 28 ecu distributor intake manifold exhaust manifold , zexnitrous kit all up for sale to I can get my b16b.........seeing how I converted my ride to obd1 might as well get a good motor...my opinion
