Movin the battery to the trunk

Gonna do it looked at the kits to do it but then in the Jegs catalog noticed that thet have a completely sealed box to vent battery gasses outside the car something I never thought of in a hatchback. To anyone that has done this are you worried about battery gasses in the car?

I'm fixin' to do it, but I'm going to get a decent sealed battery (Exide Orbital) so I don't think it'll be a big deal...

Anyways, the sealed boxes dont vent the gasses anywhere... it's just a sealed box...

Get an optima battery and you dont need the box and you can mount it in ANY position you want! because there are no gasses or anything to leak!

any one ever have any problems with the optima's. they have slightly higher voltage per cell than a regular batt. people used to complain that they never seemed to hold a charge when I worked in the auto dept. of my work My batt. stil fine are the gasses that big of a deal?/
