What's the down side?

what negative aspects will i have to deal with by lowering the car 1.5" in the front 1.3" in the back. i'm gonna do it right by getting new shocks and struts. Is the car gonna bang if i hit a little bump like in my friends civic? what ride quality issues are there?

in other words who thinks they have the best (most comfortable riding) lowering job done on their car? and what combo of shocks struts and spring did you use? and did you need a camber kit?

that drop should be ok, make ur handling a lot better. it depends on wat kinda ride u want to decide which shocks, u can make the rid stiff as hell, or jus a lil bit stiffer to improve the ride

I mostly wanna eliminate wheel gap when i get my 18's in the spring.
I'd rather the ride to feel close to stock comfort wise, but handle more like a sports car

the springs will make the handling a lil better, but if u have too loose of a struts/shocks, u make scrape ur car on stuff when u go over it, or up steep drive way ect. u have abody kit on it?

H&R Springs (my sig pic) coupled with Tokico struts and shocks will provide you with the smoothest ride. Cut one ring off the front bump stops and order new upper mounts for the rear shock assembly. That will give you back most of the lost suspension travel.

If you want a more firm ride, couple the H&R's with KYB AGX's.

Go here for the rear mounts -

i dropped mine with the eibach pro kit and the ride is still just as smooth. much better handling. i havent even gotten new struts yet but they are coming. no problems with anything so far.
