tach mounting?

ok, i know this has been asked before....but i cannot find the post.....i hate to say it....but after a while of looking for a stock Si tach and failing to find one under 70.00 (other than ebay) i just broke down and bought a spaceship tach, i was wondering where you guys mounted yours? i cannot seem to find a decent place anywhere...well....anywhere that doesnt look ghey anyway, i would love to see pics as well, thank you

i just put mine in, i mounted it on the right side of the gage cluster

Yea, i borrowed my boy's tach after he sold his car because i was bored and had nothing to do, i just wanted to shift light....... Here is where i mounted it, i love this spot, it looks real nice from outside also........

Oh and i put the wiring throught my glove box cause i diddt want to drill a hole for it cause its coming out soon........

I mounted my tach on the side of my instrument cluster too, just be careful of putting your shift light cover on when the plastic is cold, i broke mine the other day....had to get a new cover from the junkyard...

i guess thats a upside for me, mine has a integrated shiftlight, it is actually inside the tach, you can see it on the picture of me reving to 7400 rpms, it is the red light on the right hand bottom side

I got the spaceship tach to, but as soon as I find a SI gauge cluster then I'm getting rid of it.

also, whats really wrong with getting one from ebay? I know its not as reliable as going out and getting one yourself and all but I usually think its worth it for the price that some things go for on there. Thats just how I see it cuz ive never had any problems with ebay... knock on wood.
