Fujimi Ferrari F355 Spider conversion, nearing completion!

The Fujimi 355 kit takes an incredible amount of work to build box stock, so stupid me decided to convert a GTS to a Spider and create even more work! The color will be TS16 Yellow, prolly black interior and still deciding on wheels. I didn't get the butresses just right, they are a little thick like my skull Hope to have it done this weekend.

Use the original Ferrari wheels definitely. Anything else would be sacrilege.

Also, I get the feeling that the shape of the rear end, particularly the light panel, is slightly the wrong shape. I may be mistaken, but being as it is a Fujimi, it wouldn't surprise me.

Sacrilege? Nah...AVS model 5's looked great on mine, and the Workmeisters look good on Veyron's. I will admit I like the stock wheels on Veyron's car and would prefer to see it that way. Out of three "local" Fujimi F355's, it might be good to see one with the stock rims.

Yes, Fujimi did goof on the rear end a bit, the goofy way they made the rear spoiler area over the taillights TWO freaking pieces that you have to glue and fill and reshape and even working with pictures is impossible to get 100% accurate. The body is a nightmare on the kit due to the cheap way they molded it, with the rear spoiler, decklid (around the rear glass) and side scoops in poor-fitting separate pieces, incorrect window moldings, etc. Tons of prep work even before getting it to primer.

Dude, maybe you need to be using more Studio 27 or fine handmade stuff....

Then your "harem" of models will go from fat to phat in no time flat!

No, the fat butt's are my fault, I could have spent more time shaping them as well as the rear spoiler area, but my philosophy is, each model is allotted a certain amount of time and then it's finish time.

I too am working on a 355 spider, but my buttresses are nearing the right shape. The only problem is the outer edge, which slopes up to the top of the buttress. i am missing that slope and have to create it with puddy.
