intercoolers

i just got done reading up on how to make an intercooler and now i want to try but i was wondering if any one has seen an intercooler that has two intake and exhaust ports on it? Is something like this really made?

maybe I wasnt clear enough. I know how to build the intercooler( read the link above many times). I want to know if an intercooler will work with 2 seprate turbos attached or does each turbo need its own intercooler?

Hmm...don't the two turboes usually feed into the same single pipeline which then feeds into the IC? at least in a parallel setup, no idea how it would work in a sequential system...

the only problem with the 2 in to 1 system for me is that i am connecting this to a dodge viper engine which has 2 seprate air intakes, one for each cylinder head.

Sorry for the stupid reply......


I think the Ferrari F-40 has twin turbo’s connected in sequential, (one turbo feeding each side of the engine) and I believe it has 2 separate intercoolers.
