Gundam Markers...

Just got a Gray fine-tipped pen Gundam marker today. It's almost the exact same as a .005 fine tipped black pen from Sigma Micron...except the ink is a lot runnier. So it's easier to get the ink INTO the panel lines, but also easier to screw up and apply too much ink. But I think, with the right technique, these would be really useful in the long run. Next time, I'll be placing an order for a black one..

I don't know, ask P-man, he's used them on quite a few models! They're only about $2 at HLJ and don't add anything to the shipping cost (well maybe a couple dozen yen at most )

Just wondering, How is one of these pens any better than say an extra fine tip liquid pen?

Not really. If your local store has one of those fine tip pen, international shipping, waiting time and all that isn't worth it.
But(!), when you are ordering kits from overseas, and adding some supplies, it wouldn't change the shipping cost, and it's reasonable.

Most small liquid pens i have found are a ink filled pen which wont dry on the paint of your model.
The gundammarker pen is a paint filled pen

all I can say about the marker I have is that its great!!!!!!!!! I have a black one and its been through the 5th model no problem. at first it was weird because paint would'nt come out. but then it worked okay again.

plus you can easily polish out any mistakes
