Power doors and windows

Has anyone replaced there manual locks and windows on a 98 civic DX? Im tired of the winding up the windows and stuff. Any info is much appreciated. If say I got the power window parts from another civic would i need to replace anything on the door panel?

Im just wondering if it would be easier to just get the door panel from another civic with the power controls on it(aswell as the power locks and windows). Instead of just getting the stuff for inside and having to make a "custom" switch to operate them?

OUCH that sux....but a CRX is still a bomb ride....its like a rocket on wheels if done right. Im guessing that if i get the panel with all the window and lock stuff with it i could just take the one i have off and replace it with the power panel?
Would I need to do any fuse work and where would be the best place to run the power from?

the wires run thru the inside of the door and into the door sill, just like your speakers. You will need to get or duplicate the wiring inside your car.

So I would have to run the wires for the power locks and windows through the same place as the speaker wires? What would I connect them to for the power?

there should be a place in the fuse block if they are optional equipment, the wiring harness from the door sill would have them.

The wiring harness would be located inside the door panel or what?

All I would have to do would be hook it up and plug it into the harness and it would be working?

it's hard to say if the harness is there or not, maybe you should look in your car and see

usually, you take off the window crank - then take out any screws/bolts holding the handle on. Then just pull it off, there are push-in bullt connectors that hold the door panel on.
