Alero
Hello,
Dont mean specs just what owners might think. I was on some other site, looking at Ultimas which is number one choice and lots of people raved about the cars. I was looking for something similiar on this car (pros or cons) but dont recall how I found it. IT was some connection to Aol. Thanks and Mistletoe to you also:sun: |

Well, I can't speak from experience seeing as how I've never driven one. Heck, I don't even know anyone who has!
![]() About the only thing I do know about the Alero is that someone (and I can't recall where I read this) rated it rather poorly against its "counterparts" in other companies... Just a thought!

I'm just now learning to be a car fanatic
I drive an Infiniti, but my family used to go through cars rather often, and that includes a couple Oldsmobile varieties... The new post caught my eye, and here I am! ![]() Hmmm... Another vehicle that I've never driven, but these people may be able to help you. That link goes into the Honda forum, and many of the people in there are pretty intune with the manufacturing quality, etc. I hope I helped! If you have any other questions, feel free to send me a PM (Private Message) and I'll be sure to get back to ya!

The Alero!!
After driving a 1999 Olds Alero GLS (leather, 3.4 V6, loaded) for 54K miles I can honestly say....It will be my last GM car!
The car itself isn't too bad, although the brakes had been a headache until I fixed them myself (after warranty expiration). Other niggling problems have popped up here and there but nothing serious. The dealers are the problem!! They are rude, confrontional, and aren't really geared toward fixing a problem right. They are there to get you gone as fast as possible. I've owned GM cars exclusively for 15 years, 4 brand-new in the past 7 years, but I'm done now!! BMW 3-series and Honda Accords are the only realistic new cars out there that I will consider the next go around. For now, I'll keep buying old GM musclecars for fun but nothing built after 1987. Thanks for the tip. I drove a Alero last week a v6 it was nice. I thougth had some odd features, but liked the leather warp driving wheel. But so far still seem to be drawn to the Nissan ( which I currently have) I tried the Honda CRv but felt weird.
Anyway keep going with the muscle. Like the photo, funny:sun: |
