2002 steering wheel on 1998 car?

Has anyone ever attempted to put the steering wheel from one of the new civics (ie. 2002) on an older model? I have a 98 honda civic and when it was in the shop I got to drive around in a 2002 civic and I loved the steering wheel. Would it be difficult to to this swap?

THANX

I was looking at aftermarket wheels before but I heard that its illegal to take off a steering wheel with an airbag so I was wondering if replacing the stocker with one from a newer model with the H symbol on it would work and would have a functional airbag?

Removing Steering Wheels

I wanted to do this a while back until I found out that legally (depends on state I think) I could not replace my factory airbag unless it had been deployed. I also wanted to keep an airbag in the car but I wanted an S2000 or RSX wheel in my '98 Teg.
